County Dublin
From A Topographical Dictionary of Ireland, Samuel Lewis, 1837:
A maritime county of the province of Leinster, bounded on the east by the Irish Sea, on the north and west by the county of Meath, on the west and south-west by that of Kildare, and on the south by that of Wicklow.
Although County Dublin is an entity still referred to by most people, it was divided into three new administrative counties in 1994: Dun Laoghaire- Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin.
