The Cartier Fun Fair is coming up on March 8, 2008, opening with a Pancake Breakfast from 10 am till noon. Games and amusements get underway at noon highlighted by the opening of the new Cartier Golf and Country Club (mini putt). There will also be a fish pond, frog pond and duck pond. (sounds like a lot of water hazards on the course to me!!) You can get your face painted, try your skill at a ring toss, have a hot-dog or break a balloon. Mention that you saw this online and you'll recieve one free game token!!!

Unique in its isolation, with beautiful hills and forests. To be enjoyed in winter because of the abundance of snow shoe and snowmobile access.

with respect to Glanmore, the Hastings Country Museum in Belleville,
please be aware prior to your visit that this site is not an authentic restoration and should not be taken as a reflection of how the Phillips family (first owners of the house in the same family for 3 generations) lived. The family is not responsible for the loss of authenticity.
These misrepresentations as engaged in by those responsible for management of the museum have existed since Glanmore opened as a museum in 1973.
for information, FOIA collated with correspondence,
Thanking you in advance.
I LEARNED SOMETHING TONIGHT....I LEARNED THAT THERE IS A WARREN, MANITOBA AND THAT IT WAS NAMED FOR MY GRANDFATHER, A.E. (BERT) WARREN!
I NEVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING MY MATERNAL GRANDFATHER, I WAS BORN IN 1942, AFTER A.E.'s DEATH.
MY OLDER BROTHER'S NAME IS 'WARREN'.
I WAS AWARE THAT THERE WAS A TOWN/VILLAGE/STATION STOP IN ALBERTA NAMED AFTER A.E.'s FOUR DAUGHTERS......
HElen, MArjorie, RUth (my mother) and KAthleen......
HEMARUKA BUT WAS NOT AWARE OF WARREN!
I JUST ACCIDENTALLY STUMBLED ACROSS THIS SITE. IT MADE ME SMILE AND BROUGHT BACK SOME VERY NICE MEMORIES OF MY MOM AND HER STORIES.
ENJOY THE YEAR!

Hi to anyone reading my blog about Kagawong. Ive been living in this small town or Hamlet depending on how picky your are for the past 14 years. Although ive only lived here for 14 years my whole life has had something to do with Kagawong. There is something for everyone. Kagawong use to be a major tourist attraction, but over the past few years the number of tourist have been dropping. This is a sad fact for many of the store owners who depended on the summer traffic to see them threw the year. Im not sure why the numbers have dropped but I wish that they would rise again. I can remember a time when there was hardly any space left on the beach, but now there are plenty of days when i can walk across and empty beach. I love Kagawong and everything that it is, and I wish that Tourist could see Kagawong thew a Locals eyes.

Can someone please help me find my best friends property around Lesleiville Alberta. She just passed away and I would like to go to one of her favorite places to say good bye. Her name is Barb Donovan and her husband is Michael. They bought a place several years ago and have a trailer there that they enjoyed whenever they could. She just passed under very sad circumstances and I need to be in one of her fav spots to say my goodbye. Her husband is in a terrible state and hate to ask him for directions at this time. If only I could have gone to visit them there sooner. Sooo if any one could help me I would be forever gratefull.

In 1964 a red maple was planted to honour John F Kennedy. Is the tree still there? I wonder what it looks like now.
Hi Everybody, I remember Mistatim, sk. Used to go to the Elementry school there in around 1977. I lived on a farm between Mistatim and Porcupine Plains. I remember the hill they had on the side of the school, don't know if it is still there it was so fun in the winter time. We also attended the Lutheran Church just entering the town.
Wow, getting old (39)! LOL. My mom and dad were John & Dorothy Gunderson.
Its been a long time, glad I found this.

if census was done by an independent person someone, who is not pressured by council and mayor and visited every home to do census properly i think the population is alot higher than reported by census canada which in end result would allow community authority to address community issues if they can increased buget by giving the true population count
